Fr. Terry will have some needed rest and reflection time, and then, will do some research and writing for his Doctor of Ministry Degree dissertation. He will also experience several opportunities for further study and continuing education. Some of the highlights include: Taking a class at Oxford University for his Doctoral program, visiting Canterbury – the historical and central hub of Anglicanism, traveling to cathedrals and castles throughout England, Scotland and Wales, going to Greece and visiting the places in the Bible that the Apostle Paul traveled – (Corinth, Philippi, Thessaloniki, Athens, etc.) Also going to the Island of Patmos where St. John wrote the Book of Revelation.
Father Terry will be sharing the adventure part of his sabbatical through a Travel Blog. He will be posting pictures and stories of the places he and Glenna explore on their trip. Make sure to follow along online and check out the display in the Narthex with maps, pictures and calendars.
